Summary:
Responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the facility, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance with company standards, and maintaining inventory integrity through dock audits.
Shipping Duties:
· Prepare and verify outgoing shipments against customer orders and shipping documents.
· Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for all outbound freight.
· Schedule and coordinate carrier pickups and maintain shipping logs.
· Inspect outgoing products for quality and accuracy before dispatch.
Receiving Duties:
· Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
· Record and report discrepancies such as shortages, damages, or incorrect items.
· Update inventory systems promptly after receipt of goods.
· Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding issues or delays.
Dock Auditing Duties:
· Conduct audits on inbound and outbound shipments to ensure compliance with company policies.
· Verify load accuracy, proper documentation, and adherence to safety standards.
· Monitor dock activities to prevent errors, theft, or misplacement of goods.
· Maintain detailed audit records and report findings to management.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (if required).
· Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping software.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
· Able to lift 40 lbs.
Additional responsibilities may be defined by management as needed to support business operations.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
