Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Meet the Indiana licensing requirements for “School Counselor” as defined by the Indiana Professional Standards Board, 515 IAC 8-1-45.
Valid state department of education license/certificate appropriate for the position.
Meets all mandated health requirements
A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment
Complies with drug-free workplace rules and corporation policies
Keeps current with technology and other workplace innovations that support job functions
Successful teaching and administrative experience
Effective organizational, planning, and project management skills
Demonstrates current knowledge and the ability to apply broad[based curriculum designs and instructional technology applications that support the diverse learning needs of students.
Respects and observes the right of confidentiality
Supports corporation decisions and direction relative to matters of policy and administrative directives
Description
Job Objective:
Develop, manage, and deliver a comprehensive school counseling program. Provide educational, career, and student assistance services as defined and required in 511IAC 4-1.5.
Advocate for systemic change, reducing barriers to learning and increasing success for all students. Responsible for conducting themselves in an appropriate manner setting an example for students, parents and coworkers by reflecting the Noblesville Schools Vision and Mission.
