Systems Admin (Island Enterprise Browser)

Position Summary

The Technology Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, monitoring, and operational management of the Island Enterprise Browser platform and associated security technologies. This role works closely with Endpoint Engineering, Cybersecurity, Network Services, and Service Desk teams to ensure a secure, stable, and high-performing browsing experience for users across the enterprise.

The analyst serves as a key operational resource responsible for incident management, problem resolution, policy administration, user support, platform monitoring, and adherence to security and compliance standards.

Primary Responsibilities

 Administer and support the Island Enterprise Browser platform.

 Monitor platform health, performance, adoption, and security-related events.

 Configure and maintain browser policies, user groups, and security controls.

 Troubleshoot browser, authentication, application access, and connectivity issues.

 Support integrations with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and Multi-Factor Authentication

solutions.

 Partner with Network, Security, and Endpoint teams to resolve production issues.

 Perform software upgrades, maintenance activities, and configuration changes.

 Maintain operational documentation, knowledge articles, and support procedures.

 Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution activities.

 Assist with browser deployment activities through Microsoft Intune and other endpoint management tools.

 Support audit, compliance, and data protection initiatives.

 Monitor service levels and ensure adherence to operational standards and SLAs.

 Identify opportunities for automation and continuous process improvement.

Skills

Required Skills

 Enterprise application administration and operational support.

 Island Enterprise Browser administration or equivalent browser management experience.

 Working knowledge of networking concepts including:

 TCP/IP

 DNS

 HTTP/HTTPS

 SSL/TLS

 VPN technologies

 Proxy services

 Experience with:

 Microsoft Entra ID

 Active Directory

 Single Sign-On (SSO)

 Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

 Microsoft Intune

 Understanding of endpoint security and data protection technologies.

 Experience supporting Windows endpoints and virtual desktop environments.

 Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills.

 Experience with monitoring, logging, and operational support tools.

 Basic PowerShell scripting skills preferred.

Education

 Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Network Administration, or related field.

 Equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience may be considered.

 3 years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, security, networking, endpoint, or

application administration platforms.
