What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marine Rigging Assistant position at Nobles' Marine?
Nobles’ Marine is an established boat dealership for 50 years. We are looking for a full time Rigging Assistant for their Leesburg Dealership.
This is a very labor intensive job. This position requires you to be outside in the sun. Responsibilities include but not limited to getting boats prepped for delivery, trailering boats to water and ensure all is well, washing/detailing boats, mowing lot, etc.
We are seeking a candidate with prior experience rigging boats, experience installing and connecting electrical components. Experience hanging motors and jack plates and able to get into a console and bilge. Must have clean driving record and pass background and drug test.
Additional responsibilities include working in an efficient manner to maintain service schedules, preparing loose motors or trailers for delivery to customer, testing units for proper and safe operation, requesting / obtaining parts as per established company policies, installing optional equipment as per customer's request and completing required service check lists.
Nice to have experience rigging all marine systems (fuel, electrical, gauge, electronics, plumbing)
Must be willing to learn new technology and new rigging techniques
Must work well with others.
Must have basic tools
Must have prior boat trailering and boat operating experience
Must be able to pass drug test.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Company uniform is required. Additional responsibilities may be added.
