Position Overview
Our Entry Level Sales Representatives are the first point of contact for customers in-store. In this role, you’ll learn how to identify customer needs, present wireless products, and guide shoppers through the purchasing process. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and create a positive, welcoming shopping experience.
- Ask questions to understand customer needs and recommend AT&T products or wireless plans that fit their lifestyle.
- Present product features and service options clearly and confidently.
- Process sales accurately, including device recommendations, plan selection, and order entry.
- Keep displays, demo devices, and branded materials organized and visually appealing.
- Provide helpful, professional support to customers with questions or concerns.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, retail, or customer service (no experience required—training provided).
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with customers.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt in a busy retail environment.
- Goal-oriented, team-focused, and excited to build a career in sales.
Position Details
- Employment Type: Full-time, W-4
- Compensation: Hourly base pay uncapped commission (posted range includes average earnings)
- Work Environment: In-person, customer-facing sales inside partnered AT&T retail stores
- Primary Function: Assist customers, present product options, and complete in-store sales
- Schedule: Full-time schedule, may include weekends and some holidays
- Location: On-site inside partnered retail stores and at our Salem, OR office
