Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing fresh ingredients for sushi, ramen, donburi, and other traditional Japanese dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all kitchen stations
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and other food items as directed
- Keep prep and storage areas organized and well-stocked
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
- Assist chefs with basic cooking or plating tasks as needed
- Follow all food safety protocols and health department regulations

Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen or food prep experience is a plus
- Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and cleanly in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude
- Punctual, dependable, and able to follow instructions carefully
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
