About the Role
You're the first face guests see and the last one they remember. We're looking for a Host who sets the tone for the whole visit — warm, organized, and quick on their feet during a packed Saturday night. As a taphouse known for our pizza, we get a steady mix of dine-in guests and take-out orders, so you'll be juggling both with ease. If you love people and thrive on keeping things running smoothly, this is your seat.
What You'll Be Doing
- Greeting guests warmly and getting them seated efficiently
- Managing the waitlist and flow of the dining room during busy service
- Taking and coordinating take-out and pizza orders, in person and over the phone
- Communicating clearly with servers and kitchen to keep seating, timing, and take-out pickups on track
- Answering phones, taking reservations, and handling guest questions
- Keeping the host stand, entryway, and waiting area clean and welcoming
- Stepping in wherever needed to support the front-of-house team
What We're Looking For
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Ability to stay calm and organized during high-volume rushes
- Comfortable multitasking between dine-in guests and take-out orders
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Prior host or customer service experience a plus, but not required for the right person
