Customer Service:
Job Overview
As an Insurance Customer Service Account Manager, the candidate’s primary responsibility is to deliver exceptional service to Agency Producers/Agents, current policyholders and prospective customers.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service
- Manage incoming calls, addressing initial inquiries, and directing callers to the appropriate team members
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding policies, billing, coverage, and claims
- Explain policy details in easy-to-understand terms, including coverage, deductibles, and limits
- Provide claims support by addressing concerns, resolving routine issues, and escalating complex matters to the appropriate agent or manager with thorough documentation
2. Policy Management & Administration:
- Process policy documentation and filing and in accordance with agency procedures
- Prepare and issue Certificates of Insurance, binders, and ACORD forms in a timely manner, ensuring all compliance standards are met
- Manage billing-related inquiries and activities
- Maintain detailed and accurate records in Agency CRM systems
- Manage Agency policy filing requirements
- Develop strong understanding of state laws regarding surplus lines requirements
- Manage all Agency and Producer state licenses and renewals
- Assist in state filings related to surplus lines requirements
3. Collaboration
- Report directly to the Agency COO
- Provide support to team members during high-volume periods and staff absences
- Demonstrate a proactive, “can-do” attitude while thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Qualifications:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (additional education is a plus).
Experience:
- 1 to 2 Years Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance experience essential.
- Strategic thinker, infrastructure builder
- Looking for someone to assist us in building internal processes
- General understanding of Comm Prop, General/XS Liability coverages
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
