What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Technician position at Noble Industries?
Description & Duties
We are hiring a team member that will be our in-house construction lead. This person will help on job sites with the following tasks:
- Carpentry
- Framing
- Drywall
- Painting
- Minor plumbing
- Minor electrical
- Doors / Windows
- Hang new doors, refinish, patch, repair & install hardware
- Drywall: patch, hang new sheets, tape, mud, skim & texture
- Tile installation (Walls, floors, backsplash, etc.)
- Framing (Walls, niches, pony walls, etc.)
- Painting (Interior)
- Maintain accurate records on job completion
Desired Skills & Experience
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills, and computer programs
- Must have basic math skills
- Experience with hand tools and power equipment
- Ability to properly care for and use tools of trade
- Works well as part of a team
- Drywall texture matching is a must
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Must be able to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment
- Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Salary : $23 - $28
