Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning using hand tools and power tools to keep grounds looking pristine.
• Assist with gardening activities such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while following horticultural best practices.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and performing necessary repairs to ensure proper watering schedules.
• Use landscaping equipment to install new features or improve existing landscapes, including soil preparation and mulching.
• Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair, ensuring safety and aesthetic standards are met.
• Support general maintenance tasks such as debris removal, fertilizing, aerating lawns, and pest control to promote healthy growth.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines and environmental standards.

Experience

• Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor work is essential.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, and landscaping tools enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
• Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and wheelbarrows confidently; experience with power tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of plant care principles and landscaping best practices will help ensure high-quality results.
