TITLE OF POSITION: Community Liaison – Noble Hospice
TITLE OF IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director of Business Development
RISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS – Limited
DUTIES OF POSITION: The Community Liaison is responsible for interaction in the community and promotion of company services.
Work hours: 8:00 – 5:00, Monday-Friday with a 1-hour break for lunch
Dress Code: Business casual
POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:
- Analyzes the potential of the company’s service area to determine target markets.
- Visits Doctors’ offices, hospitals, Assisted Living Facilities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and other possible sources of referrals to present Agency credentials and obtain patient referrals.
- Analyzes past and current marketing data.
- Build patient/ company relationships.
- Develops sales/ marketing objectives
- Develops a marketing plan, identify priorities and set a reasonable timetable.
- Implements marketing plan staying within established timetable.
- Reviews and evaluates the analyses and plan on an established basis.
- Attends IDG meeting, as appropriate.
- Assists office staff as needed with going to Physician’ offices to obtain signatures, drop off IDG updates, etc.
- Provides community outreach and education.

POSITION EXPECTATIONS:
Ramp up admission targets:
- Month 2: 2 admits
- Month 4: 5 admits
- Month 6 : 10 admits
JOB CONDITIONS:
- Position is stressful in terms of meeting deadlines.
- Physical activities will include walking, sitting, stooping, and standing.
EQUIPMENT OPERATION:
Use of computer, cell phone telephone, calculator, copier and other office and medical equipment.
COMPANY INFORMATION:
Has access to necessary patient medical records; ability to maintain compliance with HIPAA required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 18 years old.
- Must have at least 1-year experience in marketing, nursing, or social work interacting with health agencies/ professionals.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented.
- Understands hospice philosophy.
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
- Must have ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
- Must have the ability to demonstrate self-confidence and positive attitude toward self and others and maintain commitment and enthusiasm.
