Description:
We are seeking a dedicated LPN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be a leader in the building, managing the nursing department, and provide specialized care for patients with mental health disorders in the assisted living setting.
Duties
- Monitor residents’ physical, mental, and behavioral status
- Oversee daily health services within the facility to ensure resident needs are met
- Coordinate medication management, refills, pharmacy communication, and MAR accuracy
- Provide direct nursing care including vitals, wound care (per scope), and health monitoring
- Support nurse delegation processes by coordinating with the RN
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident health information
- Communicate effectively with families, physicians, pharmacies, and care teams
- Participate in resident care planning and follow established care plans
- Provide oversight and guidance to caregivers regarding resident health needs
- Assist with new resident admissions, reviewing medical histories and service needs
- Support behavioral plans created by Behavior Support staff and report any behavioral changes
- Assist in training caregivers on basic health, medication, and safety procedures
- Promote a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in WA
- Previous behavioral health experience preferred
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatment modalities is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
