Description:1. Medication Assistance
- Administer prescribed medications to residents/patients
- Follow dosage instructions and schedules carefully
- Observe and report side effects or adverse reactions
- Maintain accurate medication records (MAR charts)
- Help with daily living activities (ADLs), such as:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Assist with mobility (walking, transfers, wheelchair use)
- Check and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature)
- Monitor changes in physical or mental condition
- Report concerns to nurses or supervisors
- Keep detailed and accurate records of:
- Medications given
- Patient behavior or condition changes
- Follow legal and facility documentation standards
- Work closely with nurses, doctors, and other caregivers
