Summary
Noble Gas Solutions is seeking a motivated Accounting / Finance Intern to join our team for an 8-week summer internship. This role provides hands-on experience across all areas of the finance department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger reconciliation, inventory, and balance sheet reporting. You’ll gain practical experience working with real financial data and internal controls while supporting key projects alongside the Accounting Manager and Controller.
This internship is ideal for students looking to explore industrial distribution finance, develop analytical skills, and learn how accounting supports overall business operations.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable processing
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and internal financial reports
- Support month-end close activities and reporting preparation
- Assist with treasury functions and daily cash management
- Maintain customer billing files and respond to inquiries
- Generate and process monthly billing statements
- Support audit preparation and other finance projects
- Help improve department processes and perform administrative support tasks
- Perform general administrative and finance support tasks as needed

Qualifications

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel preferred)
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
- This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer equipment, phones, scanners, copiers, and fax machines. Office-based with frequent interaction with customer service, dispatch, and sales teams.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Some flexibility in hours is allowed.
