Duties
- Wrap, package, and label various cuts of meat with precision and care to maintain freshness and presentation standards
- Ensure all meat products are handled in accordance with food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with meat cutting and trimming to meet customer specifications or store requirements
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas to uphold hygiene standards
- Support inventory management by rotating stock and monitoring product expiration dates
- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about meat products and offering cooking or preparation tips when needed
- Follow all safety procedures related to knife skills, meat handling, and food production processes
Skills
- Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or kitchen environments, especially within the food industry or restaurant settings
