What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Sales Account Manager position at NOBL Beverages?
Company Description
NOBL Beverages makes specialty Ready-To-Drink canned beverages and co-packs complex beverage products for high-potential brands and retailers. You will work alongside a world-class operations team to secure new co-packing and branded RTD client relationships and open additional avenues for NOBL to grow. Why this role
NOBL is growing fast, and we are adding capacity in one of the fastest-growing corners of the beverage market. This is a high-ownership sales seat with uncapped earnings. You will work warm referrals and leads from our network of formulators and vendors, not just cold lists, and you will have a Contract Account Team behind you handling scheduling and operational details so you can stay focused on filling plant capacity and working 1:1 with your clients.
What you'll do
- Own the sales process end to end: prospecting, qualification, needs assessment, proposal and quote development, contract negotiation, and a clean handoff to production.
- Build a resilient book of business: a deliberate mix of emerging brands, established brands, and private label, so the pipeline holds up when the market shifts.
- Be a steward of NOBL's relationships: most of the best prospects arrive through referrals and industry relationships. You will be the primary touchpoint for those referrals, maintain a disciplined and persistent cadence with key prospects and partners, and seek new partnerships with formulators, vendors, and service providers.
- Own gross profit, not just revenue: structure deals, negotiate pricing, and manage product mix to hit specific gross-profit targets while keeping the daily canning schedule full.
- Keep the CRM honest: maintain rigorous hygiene in our CRM and give operations and finance accurate, data-driven forecasts and pipeline visibility for smooth production planning.
- Collaborate across the company: each new client brings special requirements. You will learn our manufacturing process quickly and secure buy-in across departments to bring deals to close.
The experiences a qualified candidate should have:
- At least 3 to 5 years in consultative or solution B2B sales, with a track record of hitting targets and growing accounts. Beverage, co-packing, packaging, ingredients, 3PL, or food-and-beverage manufacturing experience is preferred, but we will seriously consider strong experience from adjacent B2B categories.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with cross-functional teams.
- Prior accountability for revenue or gross-profit metrics, with proven results in developing and executing sales strategy.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Comfort selling into manufacturing realities: MOQs, production scheduling, and lead times.
- Working knowledge of CRM tools, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience. We care more about your results than your diploma.
Logistics
- Location: Hybrid, based out of our Seabrook, NH facility, with onsite required for customer visits. You will be expected to balance remote and on-site work as the packaging schedule allows.
- Travel: Very little external travel required, 1-2 trade shows per year..
- Reports to: CEO / COO
Compensation and benefits
- Base Uncapped Commission, with an expected OTE of $100,000 - $140,000.
- 401(k) matching
- Health and dental insurance
- Paid time off
- Paid parental leave
- Tuition reimbursement
