Nobis is looking for a Project Manager with an active Licensed Site Professional (LSP) licensure for our Environmental Engineering group based in Lowell, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience and a desire to join our remarkable team of forward thinking committed partners.
What You'll Do
- Generate and manage proposals, contracts, and subcontracts.
- Communicate with clients, state and local regulators, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Track project schedules, budgets, and prepare monthly invoices.
- Oversee the technical performance of projects to provide high-quality solutions (design plans, specifications, reports, and other design documents).
- Perform on-the-job training and mentoring of junior staff.
- Provide technical review for environmental investigations, remedial actions, and environmental due diligence projects for a variety of environmental project types throughout New England.
- Communicate with Nobis' internal Resource Center Manager and Account Manager regularly on the status and performance projects.
What You'll Need to Bring With You
- A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in science or engineering (e.g., Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Science, or a related field) from an accredited four-year college or university. A minimum of five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent is required. It's a plus to have a Master's degree.
- Active Licensed Site Professional (LSP) licensure (required).
- Familiarity with and demonstrated expertise in applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations (required).
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification and current 8-hour refresher (required).
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist is strongly preferred.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance (required).
