*Overview*
NobelClad is a world leader in explosion welding and is seeking machinists.
NobelClad is seeking energetic, hand-on CNC/Machinists at its Mt. Braddock, PA facility. The Machinist will be working with a variety of machines and manufacturing equipment as needed and per blueprint or job order specifications. You will also be repairing and maintaining your equipment as needed, asssisting other machinists, and maintaining a safe work environment.
This position reports to the Postbond Manager.
*Duties*
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Use various tools and equipment, suck as power tools, hand tools, and guages
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean well organized work environment
- Ability to program and edit programs at the machine
- Ability to think and plan through the complete machining process
- Perform all other tasks or requirements as needed
- Minimum 2 years prior machinist experience required, 5 years preferred
*Skills*
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines
- Ability to assemble and disassemble machine components as needed
- Familiarity with HAAS controls a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Experience with toolling and tool maintenance is a plus
- Self-motivated and able to keep a clean, organized workspace
- General understanding of Fanuc code a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.20 - $29.00 per hour
