What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Generalist position at Nobel Automotive?
This role will be responsible for core HR functions including, recruitment, onboarding, training and development, payroll processing, employee data keeping, workers compensation, compliance and health and safety management.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
- 5 years of relevant work experience, in a manufacturing environment required
- Strong federal and state labor law knowledge is required
- Strong payroll processing knowledge is required
- Hands on Kronos (UKG) knowledge is required
- Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
Role Responsibilities:
- Maintain employee data in the Kronos HRIS for all employees
- Maintain employee personal files for all employees.
- Payroll processing in UKG
- Benefits management through open enrolment
- Staffing for all hourly positions. This includes coordinating staffing with temporary staffing agencies as well as the internal job posting system.
- Supporting HR functions such as employee training and development, perfomance management
- Following health and safety requirements, risk analysis, accident reportings, near miss follow ups, leading health and safety committee meetings, reportings
- Implementing progressive disciplinary process and terminations. Assisting with internal investigations.
- Managing workers compensation activities
- Coaching management team for all people management subjects form legal perspective
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
