Job Summary
We are seeking a warm, engaging, and experienced Certified Yoga Instructor to join our team at Nobe Yoga, a vibrant wellness studio in Miami Beach. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating transformative class experiences, building authentic connections with students, and contributing to a positive, community-focused environment. Instructors should be reliable, professional, and confident teaching a variety of styles, including Vinyasa, Yin, and restorative practices. This is a part-time, on-site role with opportunities for growth and additional classes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead safe, engaging, and well-structured yoga classes (Vinyasa, Yin, restorative, or specialty formats depending on certification).
- Provide clear verbal cues, hands-on or verbal adjustments (as appropriate), and modifications for all levels.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for students of all backgrounds and abilities.
- Arrive on time, prepare the studio space, and ensure a clean and organized environment before and after each class.
- Build positive student relationships and help foster a strong community atmosphere at Nobe Yoga.
- Maintain professionalism and represent the studio’s values, energy, and culture at all times.
- Accurately track attendance and communicate class-related updates when needed.
- Participate in occasional studio events, workshops, or community activities.
- Stay current with yoga education, safety standards, and best teaching practices.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of yoga principles, anatomy, alignment, and safe sequencing
- Ability to teach Vinyasa, Yin, and/or restorative styles with confidence and clarity
- Excellent verbal cueing and communication skills
- Warm, positive, and community-oriented teaching style
- Ability to offer modifications and adjustments for all levels
- Strong class management and time-management skills
- Professionalism, reliability, and strong work ethic
- Ability to create a calming, inclusive, and supportive environment
- Mindfulness and breathwork guidance skills
- CPR/AED certification (a plus)
- Experience working in a studio environment (preferred)
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
