Position Summary


The EHS Specialist is responsible for supporting Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs across NOARK's North America operations. This role will initially support warehouse operations in Addison (TX) and Kitchener (Canada), as well as Field Service activities at customer sites. As the business expands, the position will also support future manufacturing operations in the Dallas area.


The EHS Specialist will help ensure compliance with applicable EHS regulations, promote a safe work environment, and support the development and implementation of EHS policies, training, and safety programs.

Key Responsibilities


EHS Compliance


· Support compliance with applicable federal, state, provincial, and local EHS regulations, including OSHA requirements.


· Assist with internal safety audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.


· Monitor workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.


Safety Training


· Develop and deliver safety orientation and recurring EHS training for warehouse personnel, Field Service Engineers, and future manufacturing employees.


· Maintain training records and ensure employees complete required safety training.


Warehouse & Field Safety


· Conduct routine safety inspections of warehouses and field operations.


· Support Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments for warehouse, field service, and future manufacturing activities.


· Investigate incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries, and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.


Responsible for certifications of forklift training and testing to staff


PPE Management


· Manage the selection, procurement, inventory, distribution, and inspection of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).


· Ensure employees use appropriate PPE and comply with company safety requirements.


EHS Programs & Documentation


· Assist in developing and maintaining EHS policies, procedures, work instructions, and safety standards.


· Maintain EHS documentation, inspection records, incident reports, and safety metrics.


· Support emergency preparedness programs and safety drills.


Cross-functional Support


· Work closely with Operations, HR, Engineering, Warehouse, and Field Service teams to promote safe work practices.


· Provide EHS support for new warehouse, field service, and future manufacturing projects.


· Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization.

Qualifications


Required Qualifications


· Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.


· 3 years of EHS experience in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environments.


· Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and general workplace safety practices.


· Experience delivering safety training and conducting workplace safety inspections.


· Experience managing PPE programs.


· Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.


· Ability to travel up to 20–30% within North America.


Preferred Qualifications


· Professional certification such as OSHA 30, ASP, OHST, or similar is preferred.


· Experience supporting Field Service or manufacturing operations.


· Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.


· Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Physical Requirements


· Ability to work in warehouse, manufacturing, and customer job-site environments.


· Ability to wear required PPE and conduct routine safety inspections.


· Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
