Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care and support to our clients who require assistance with daily living activities. Duties:
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting independence and dignity.
- Provide personal care, including incontinence care, and assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
- Administer medications and manage treatment plans in accordance with client needs and provider instructions.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients and their families.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Implement behavior management strategies as directed by the care plan
- Assist with household chores, meal preparation, and housekeeping as needed.
- Monitor clients' vital signs, report changes, and document care activities.
- Lift and transfer clients as necessary, adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with clients, their families, and other caregivers.
Qualifications:
- Experience in senior care, home care, or working with elderly people
- Ability to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with ADLs (activities of daily living) and the ability to assist with these tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
