We are currently seeking caring and dependable Daycare Staff Members to join our team.
Position Summary:
As a member of our daycare staff, you will help create a welcoming, Christ-centered atmosphere where children can grow, learn, and thrive. You’ll assist in daily care routines, educational activities, and spiritual enrichment, all while ensuring the safety and well-being of every child.
**This position is Monday-Friday. We currently have full time and part time available. Positions range from Toddlers to 4 years old.**
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the supervision and care of children in the class.
- Assist with the supervision and care of children ages 4 weeks to 12 years old when needed.
- Assist in implementing daily activities and lessons
- Help guide children in play, learning, and age-appropriate faith-based practices
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom and play environment
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Willing to change diapers, training pants, and help potty train when necessary.
Qualifications:
- 16 years of age and older
- Experience working with children in a daycare or church setting preferred
- A heart for children and a commitment to Christian values
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Must pass background checks in accordance with state childcare regulations
