What are the responsibilities and job description for the BIPP Facilitator position at Noah Project?
- General Description:**The BIPP (Battering Intervention and Prevention Program) Facilitator will work directly with men (and women) with a history of battering their partners through physical and emotional abuse. This position will be responsible for facilitating or co-facilitating a group as well as conducting individual intake and progress sessions with offenders in the BIPP program.
- Plan and facilitate BIPP groups for perpetrators of family violence in accordance to the Duluth Model on Mondays evenings
- Conduct orientation and intake sessions for possible new participants
- Provide limited individual services, as determined by BIPP program
- Facilitate and maintain contact with the victim of the batterer and document
- Provide referrals for services with other agencies, if needed
- Maintain required documentation for participants and their files, referring agencies, the BIPP Program, and funders
- Schedule and conduct exit sessions for participants
- Provide supervision and support to interns and volunteers
- Attend all meetings and training as required
