Job Description
NOA Diagnostics is seeking a Mobile Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist to perform echocardiograms in long-term care, assisted living, and home care settings throughout Connecticut.
This is an excellent opportunity for a sonographer who enjoys independent work, flexible scheduling, and patient-focused care outside of a hospital environment.
NOA Diagnostics provides a company vehicle, gas card, and portable ultrasound equipment, allowing technologists to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform Transthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE) at patient locations
Operate portable ultrasound equipment
Capture high-quality cardiac images for physician interpretation
Transmit images securely and accurately
Communicate professionally with patients, nursing staff, and caregivers
Maintain ultrasound equipment and company vehicle
Follow all clinical protocols and compliance guidelines
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with echocardiography training
ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification required
Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
Ability to travel throughout Connecticut
Strong communication and patient care skills
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year echocardiography experience
Experience in mobile imaging or long-term care settings
Comfortable working independently
Experience on Mindray Ultrasound systems a plus
