Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in the preparation and execution of lesson plans, including activities focused on literacy education, math, and other subjects.
- Support classroom management by helping maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Provide individualized attention to students, particularly those with disabilities or special needs, including experience working with people with autism.
- Engage in behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among students.
- Foster developmental skills through early childhood education practices and curriculum development.
- Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and adapt instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and staff regarding student development and classroom activities.
- Assist in organizing classroom materials and resources for various educational activities.
- Provide care for toddlers or preschool-aged children as necessary, ensuring their safety and well-being during school hours.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, private schools, or preschools is preferred.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles and early childhood education methodologies is essential.
- Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom experience is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with teachers and interaction with students.
