HCA Caregiver

Job Summary

No Worries Care is urgently hiring multiple compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides (HCA/CNA) to provide high-quality care to clients in their homes. This role involves supporting individuals with various health and personal needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and independence.

The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care, assisted living, or home health environments, with a strong focus on patient-centered care. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a supportive and professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support

• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature

• Give medication reminders following care plans and HIPAA guidelines

• Provide meal preparation and nutritional support tailored to individual dietary needs

• Support patients with memory care, dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive impairments

• Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility

• Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior to care team

• Perform light housekeeping

• Follow prescribed care plans and document services provided accurately

• Support patients during social activities and promote engagement for overall well-being

• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols including CPR, first aid, and infection control procedures

Skills

• Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care

• Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring

• Ability to assist with ADLs and provide compassionate patient care

• Familiarity with medication reminders and care planning processes

• Experience working with people with dementia, arthritis, or mobility challenges.

• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams

• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required (e.g., resident transfers)

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; ongoing training provided if necessary

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy

• Experience working with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring memory care support
