No Place Like Home Senior Services (NPLH) is seeking a compassionate, experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a gentleman living with advanced-stage dementia in his home.
This role is ideal for someone who understands higher-acuity dementia care and can provide consistent, calm, and patient support while maintaining dignity and quality of life.
đ ABOUT THE CLIENT
- Â Lives at home with his wife and their senior dogÂ
- Must be comfortable working in a home with a dog đžÂ
- Â Diagnosed with advanced-stage dementia, requiring hands-on care, redirection, and supervisionÂ
- Â Benefits from routine, reassurance, and a calm, structured environmentÂ

đ The goal of this role is to provide safety, comfort, and quality of life through consistency and connection
đ ď¸ RESPONSIBILITIES
- Â Provide continuous supervision, companionship, and redirection
- Â Assist with all ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals)Â
- Â Manage advanced dementia behaviors with patience and skillÂ
- Â Maintain a calm, structured daily routine
- Â Support mobility and ensure safety at all timesÂ
- Â Light housekeeping and household supportÂ
- Â Communicate updates to family and agency staffÂ
đ SCHEDULE
- Â Part-Time or Full-Time availableÂ
- Â Opportunity for additional hours with other clientsÂ

QUALIFICATIONS
- Required: Experience with advanced dementia or Alzheimerâs care
- Â Patient, calm, and dependableÂ
- Â Strong communication and observation skillsÂ
- Â Reliable transportation and valid driverâs licenseÂ
- Must be comfortable with dogs (required)
- Â Must pass background check and referencesÂ
