We are seeking a skilled and diligent Plumber with a minimum of 2 years plumbing experience to join our team. As a Plumber, you will be expected to be able to handle service and repair as well as new construction plumbing in residential and commercial buildings. This is a full-time position with competitive pay at $30 - $40 per hour, dependent on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
- Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute plumbing projects
- Read blueprints and follow specifications to ensure accurate installations
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance
- Respond to emergency plumbing calls (possibly after hours and on weekends) and provide timely solutions
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and techniques
- Drain cleaning ability
- Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve plumbing issues
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
- Ability to build and weld pipes is an advantage
