About the Role
As a Product Management Intern at an early-stage nonprofit, you will play a key role in shaping and improving the digital experience that supports our students and families. This role focuses on enhancing our website’s usability, expanding platform features, and ensuring that our product decisions are grounded in student feedback and real user needs.
You will work closely with No Barriers Education’s leadership, including the co-founders and board of directors, as well as our website development, research, and finance teams. Your work will directly influence how students discover, navigate, and trust the resources we provide, helping ensure our platform is intuitive, inclusive, and impactful.

Responsibilities
Improve the user experience (UX) of the No Barriers Education website to ensure resources are easy to find, understand, and use for students and families.
Manage, prioritize, and document new product features, including additional website tabs, resource pages, and content structures.
Map and analyze the end-to-end user journey for students and families, identifying friction points and opportunities for improvement.
Collect, analyze, and synthesize student feedback from website demos, testing sessions, and qualitative insights to inform product decisions.
Collaborate with website development teams to translate user needs and product requirements into clear, actionable specifications.
Partner with research and content teams to ensure all features and resources align with verified, accurate, and equitable information.
Coordinate with finance and strategy stakeholders to ensure product initiatives are feasible, mission-aligned, and positioned for impact as the organization grows.
Contribute to defining product goals, success metrics, and iterative improvement plans for the platform.
Provide recommendations on future features, tools, or partnerships that strengthen the platform’s ability to support low-income and first-generation students.
