What is No Bad Days Club?

No Bad Days Club is a Boston-built app that turns exploring the city into a game. Players complete real-world challenges across Boston — find hidden gems, visit historical landmarks, photograph a sunset, try a new restaurant — earn XP, climb a live leaderboard, and redeem real prizes, from gift cards to event tickets. We're backed by 16 Boston venue partners and a community built entirely through real-world events. The app launches publicly in September. Adventure is the currency.

Our vision. We believe the best app is the one that gets you OFF your phone. Adventure should be rewarded — not spending. Every neighborhood deserves to be discovered, local businesses are the soul of a city, and nobody should live somewhere for ten years and never leave their same five spots. We're building the platform that turns every city into a game worth playing — starting with Boston, then Southeast Asia, then the world. Female-founded and built from the ground up to feel human.

Why Vibe Creators? We didn't grow this far with ads — we grew through real people and real events, and that's not changing. Vibe Creators are the students who make exploring Boston look as fun as it actually is: they create content, host meetups, and bring their campus into the game with their own referral code. They're the face of NBDC at their school.

Why the Vibe Captain matters. Every crew needs a captain. Vibe Captains build and lead the creator team at their school — recruiting the right people, hosting the events, keeping the crew active and climbing. When NBDC takes over a campus, it's because a Captain made it happen. This is the closest thing to running your own campus startup with our brand, our app, and our backing behind you — and our Captains are first in line as NBDC grows into co-op roles, paid positions, and the Southeast Asia expansion team.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of 5–10 Vibe Creators at your school
• Host at least one NBDC event or meetup per month — challenge crawls, explore-nights, partner venue takeovers
• Run your team like a team: weekly touchpoints, goal-setting, keeping creators active and climbing
• Create content and drive your own signups — the best captains lead from the front
• Be the bridge: relationships with student orgs and campus offices, feedback from the ground to the founding team
• Own your campus number: activated signups from your school is your scoreboard

Qualifications:

• Enrolled at a Boston-area university, 18
• A social butterfly — outgoing, can talk to and connect with anyone, the kind of person people naturally follow
• Led something real: club e-board, team, org, or event series — you've been responsible for other people's output before
• Hosted events people actually showed up to
• Active social presence with an authentic voice
• A few hours a week, reliably — this is a leadership role with a stipend attached, and we treat it that way

Compensation:

• 500 XP sign-on bonus ($10) — credited when you complete onboarding
• $200/month stipend for event planning, content creation, and team management
• $1 override per fully activated team signup — $0.50 when your creator's signup hits 250 XP, $0.50 more at 500 XP
• 250 XP ($5) per recruited creator who drives their first activated signup
• $50 team bonus any month your crew crosses 100 activated signups
• Full standard creator commission on your own signups — $3 per activated signup, uncapped
• Everything creators get: XP drop eligibility, free food and experiences at partner venues, early access to new features, a direct line to the founders — plus first consideration for co-op roles and the Southeast Asia expansion team
