What are the responsibilities and job description for the Key Accounts Coordinator position at NNR Global Logistics USA Inc.?
JOB SUMMARY
Coordinate export and import orders between client and vendors (land, sea, air) in compliance with NNR and Client SOP’s and manuals and within governmental regulations.
Duties & Functions
Essential:
• Coordinate with NNR and our overseas offices and agents, Client back office/logistics team and air, land, and sea vendors to execute efficient and effective shipment planning.
• Coordinate pre- and post- shipment processes and documentation, e.g. Bills of Lading, IMO’s, COA’s and commercial document for inland dray and ocean carriage.
• Execute SAP transactions within the client’s SAP ecosystem to produce Sales Orders, Invoices, Pack Lists, COA’s etc. specific to NNR’s business requirements.
• Prepare shipment-specific documents within NNR’s software ecosystem from the Client’s SAP-prepared documents.
• Process Dangerous Goods Freight according to DOT, IATA and FMC regulations.
• Billing duties to include cost entry and creating and submitting NNR invoice packets to the Client per Tariff requiring mathematical accuracy for high level of data quality.
• Customer Service duties to identify and assess Client’s' needs to achieve satisfaction, build sustainable relationships and trust with the Client through open and interactive communication.
• Complete all Department of Commerce, Department of State and Census Bureau documentation for the exporting of freight out of the U.S.
• Manage ISO tank flow and count for exports and imports to ensure export orders can be filled as required with available asset.
• Track and trace shipments.
• Engage and update in weekly and/or monthly tactical meetings with the Client and NNR.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education & Experience:
• Minimum requirement High School diploma or GED.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 5 plus years’ experience in export/import operations.
• Thorough understanding of international freight forwarding operations.
• Knowledgeable in DoS, TSA, and FMC security regulations.
• Able to use basic math skills to calculate freight, storage, and other charges.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Proficient in G Suite (Google Apps) for communication with Client.
• Preferred experience within an SAP ecosystem.
• Highly adaptive personality, strict attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, strong analytical skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Personable with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Physical requirements:
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Light travel will be required.
• Position location will be split between on-site at Client and at the local NNR HOU office.
• Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, frequently and/or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
