We are a full-service commercial kitchen equipment dealer supplying restaurants, hotels, institutions, and multi-unit operators with cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, and food-prep equipment from leading manufacturers. We maintain strong post-sale relationships and need reliable, factory-authorized independent technicians to handle installation support, warranty work, emergency repairs, and preventative maintenance on our behalf.
The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced, independent CFESA (or equivalent manufacturer-authorized) technicians to serve as preferred subcontractors. You will receive steady work orders, clear scope of work, and the ability to build recurring revenue while remaining fully independent. This is ideal for established service pros or small service companies looking for consistent dealer-sourced volume without the overhead of sales and marketing.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, installations, start-ups, and preventative maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment (ranges, ovens, fryers, combi ovens, refrigeration, ice machines, dishwashers, etc.)
• Respond promptly to dispatched service calls (emergency, warranty, and scheduled service.)
• Provide clear documentation, photos, and invoices for completed work
• Coordinate with our service coordinators on parts, warranties, and customer updates
• Maintain professional communication and represent our brand positively on-site
• Adhere to manufacturer specifications, local codes, and safety standards
Requirements
• Current CFESA certification
• Proven experience servicing commercial foodservice equipment (minimum 3 years) along with
• Fully independent contractor status with own tools, diagnostic equipment, service vehicle, and valid insurance (general liability workers’ compensation as applicable)
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses (gas, electrical, refrigeration EPA, etc.) for the service territory along with already having their certification for R-290.
• Strong diagnostic skills, first-time fix focus, and professional customer service
• Reliable communication and willingness to follow our dispatch and reporting processes
• Must be willing to travel within a 30 mile radius of the dealer's location.
