We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Insurance Clerk to join our administrative team. Duties
- Manage and update insurance files and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist clients with insurance inquiries via phone, email, or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Handle data entry tasks using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks for record keeping and billing purposes
- Support front desk operations including greeting visitors and managing multi-line phone systems
- Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings for insurance agents or management staff
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, proofreading documents, and maintaining organized office records
- Support office management functions including bookkeeping, calendar management, and general administrative support
- Provide customer support by addressing questions related to insurance policies and claims processing
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management, clerical work, or administrative roles within an insurance or medical setting preferred
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, QuickBooks, and data entry skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse client base
- Experience with front desk duties, multi-line phone systems, and customer service is preferred
- Attention to detail for proofreading documents and maintaining accurate records
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist, medical receptionist, or personal assistant is advantageous
- Knowledge of office equipment operation including filing systems and office software applications
