We are a small, busy, family owned shop located in Lakeville with an immediate opening for a residential HVAC installer helper.
We offer: No weekends; 4 - 10hr days; No on call; 5 Paid Holidays; Profit Sharing; Paid Vacation Time; Time and a half paid for time worked over 40 hours and over 10 hours a day, 401k, and Medical.
The ideal candidate would be reliable, honest, knowledgeable, motivated.
Days begin and end in Lakeville and we cover mainly the south metro. You must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians in installing HVAC systems according to specifications
- Prepare job sites by gathering tools, equipment, and materials needed for installations
- Help with the setup and connection of refrigeration units, boilers, and other mechanical components
- Support the safe handling of HVAC equipment including ductwork, piping, and electrical wiring
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment during installations and maintenance
Requirements
- Prior experience or training in construction, plumbing, or related is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in HVAC systems and appliances repair
- Familiarity with field service procedures and equipment repair techniques is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials safely
- Strong attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
