FULL TIME JANITOR
POSITION 1
Job Site: City of Carlsbad
Work Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday 3PM- 12AM
Rate: $18.50 per hour
POSITION #2
JOB SITE: Oceanside
DAY OFF: SUNDAY
SCHEDULE:
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
7:00PM -1:00AM
5.5 HOURS
AND
Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday
7:00PM - 2:30AM
7 HRS
Must have reliable vehicle
17.75 plus mileage reimbursement
Minimum Requirements
Valid California Driver's License.
Clean driving record.
You will travel to multiple locations in a company vehicle.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
- Handle custodial duties in both commercial and residential environments, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies within the facility.
- Cleaning of public restroom in the City of Carlsbad
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, or custodial work is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment, including buffing machines.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and visitors.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and moving equipment or supplies as needed.
- Must have an active driver's license
