NMK Resources is seeking a dependable and motivated Petroleum Field Inspector to join our team. This is a hands-on field position involving sampling and measurement of oil products transferred between shore tanks and marine vessels. No experience? No problem — we’ll train you. Key Responsibilities:
- Collect oil samples from shore tanks and marine vessels in accordance with industry standards.
- Accurately gauge, measure, and record product temperature and quantity during transfer operations (Shore Tank to Barge/Vessel).
- Complete field reports, sampling documentation, and measurement tickets in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate effectively with terminal personnel, vessel crews, and internal dispatch/lab teams to ensure alignment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company operating procedures at all times.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Experience in petroleum inspection is preferred but not required — we will train qualified candidates.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
