We are seeking a high-performing individual to join our team in Boston MA, as a Consultant or Senior Consultant. In this role, you will lead the design and execution of large-scale, complex research engagements—from initial scoping through analysis and client delivery. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of two direct reports.
Senior Consultants work closely with clients and NMG leadership to define research objectives, develop methodologies, and translate findings into clear, strategic, actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end research studies, including:
- Designing sampling plans and selecting appropriate data collection methodologies
- Developing project timelines, workplans, and research instruments
- Managing fieldwork and data collection processes
- Leading analysis, synthesis, and interpretation of research findings
- Overseeing Research Analysts in the development of reports and supporting materials
- Producing clear, high-quality reports and presentations internal and client use
- Communicating insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and clients
- Continuously improving research products and operational processes, including leveraging AI and automation tools to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability
Your Experience
The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate:
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university with strong academic performance
- Minimum of 3 years of full-time professional experience; market research or consulting experience preferred
- Strong project management and team leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights clearly and persuasively
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Comfort working with data, research platforms, and emerging technologies, including leveraging AI tools to improve workflows, analysis, and productivity
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Experience working in financial services or with financial institutions is a plus
