We are seeking experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Independent Tax Preparers to join our team for the upcoming tax season. What We Offer (Compensation & Flexibility)
Pay Structure: Competitive commission-based pay per completed and accepted tax file [insert commission % or flat rate per return, e.g., $50-$100 per return].
Payment Schedule: Paid weekly via direct deposit as files are funded.
Schedule: Highly flexible. Create your own hours and manage your own schedule to meet client needs.
Conduct thorough face-to-face or virtual tax interviews with clients to gather financial records, income statements, and documentation.
Accurately prepare and file individual (Form 1040) and/or business federal and state tax returns using professional tax preparation software.
Analyze financial data to identify legal deductions, credits, and tax-saving opportunities for clients.
Review completed tax returns for accuracy, compliance with IRS regulations, and completeness before submission.
Provide exceptional customer service, explaining complex tax concepts to clients clearly and professionally.
Maintain strict client confidentiality and adhere to all IRS security and compliance standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
Credentials: Must possess an active and valid PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) for the current filing year. (An active Electronic Filing Identification Number (EFIN) is a plus but not required).
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience preparing federal and state tax returns.
Software Skills: Proficiency with professional tax software (e.g., TaxSlayer, Drake, or CrossLink) and basic digital literacy.
Tools: If working remotely, you must have your own reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a secure, private workspace.
Skills: Sharp attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent time management to handle seasonal volume.
Pay: From $3,500.00 per week
