Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on uncovering insights through data, translating complex information into clear business recommendations, and collaborating cross-functionally to support strategic decision-making.
As a mid- to senior-level Data Analyst, you’ll work with large datasets, refine data models, and provide analytical support to business leaders across operations, finance, and strategy. You’ll play a hands-on role in improving data processes and ensuring reporting accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs and translate data findings into actionable recommendations.
- Support data governance and ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reporting.
- Automate and streamline data collection and reporting processes.
- Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and improve accessibility.
- Present findings to leadership in a clear, concise, and visually engaging way.
Qualifications
- 5 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a related analytics role.
- Proficiency with SQL, Excel, and at least one BI/reporting tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
- Strong understanding of relational databases, ETL processes, and data modeling.
- Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis and automation is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills—able to convey complex data in simple business terms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
