Key Responsibilities
- Handle all phases of real estate and contract litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and related real estate documents
- Provide strategic legal advice and risk analysis related to property ownership, leasing, and development
- Represent the company in disputes involving property transactions, construction, landlord-tenant matters, and contract enforcement
- Manage outside counsel as needed and coordinate with internal stakeholders
- Maintain detailed case records and ensure compliance with applicable laws, procedures, and deadlines
Qualifications
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensure: Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate and contract litigation
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Florida real estate law, civil procedure, and contract principles
- Skills:
Exceptional legal writing, research, and oral advocacy abilities
Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities professionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling both commercial and residential real estate matters
