NL-25-104 Test Engineer

nLogic is hiring for a Test Engineer to join our team and become part of Space Launch System (SLS) program, located in Huntsville, AL. The applicant will work on site in an avionics lab.

Responsibilities

• Perform test activities
• Monitor and run avionics tests
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure test activities are successful
• Includes repair activities, replacement and calibration, scheduling, and shipping
• Working with MS Office and Windchill to manage software and hardware
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Math, or Physics
• 3 or more years of experience with avionics testing
• Must have an understanding of HW and SW interfaces
• Able to read and create drawings
• Able to create, review, and run avionics test procedure
• Experience with conducting avionics hardware tests in a lab environment
• Must be able to understand complex avionics systems in order to write, review, and run avionics test procedures
• Experience troubleshooting HW and SW issues
• Able to work with stakeholders on performing tests and troubleshooting
• Able to read HW drawings and interconnect diagrams
• Able to coordinate with various teams as tests are run
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the NASA programs
• Familiarity with MS Office, Pro-E Creo, XML, and Linux
• Familiar with varies reviews (PDR, CDR, etc.)
  
  

Education/Experience

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering/Engineering, Physics, or other STEM field.
• 5 or more years of experience in the Responsibilities area.
  
  

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Candidate must have the ability to obtain a Customer/NASA background check. This is a full-time position located in Huntsville, AL. This is a full-time 40-hour week Monday through Friday position. Candidate must be able to work weekends and shift during test events when required. Some travel may be required.
