Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers to translate CAD models from a conceptual design phase into production-ready documents.
- Generate and revise detailed engineering drawings from CAD models in SolidWorks.
- Apply GD&T principles using ASME Y14.5 standards.
- Review drawings for dimensional accuracy, completeness and compliance with ASME standards.
- Prepare and update BOMs with part numbers and required quantities.
- Utilize PDM to maintain configuration control of models and drawings for development and release.

- The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience generating and reviewing engineering drawings for large, complex structures.

- Experience in SolidWorks, Creo, Catia or similar CAD tools.
- Capability to use project management tools such as Jira, GITlabs, or MS Projects, to track and document assigned tasks.
- Experience working in DOD related industries: Directed Energy, Aerospace, Naval, or Land Systems
- Experience coordinating with vendors and/or tooling experts to evaluate manufacturability and tolerancing constraints
