- Objective
- Scope of Services
- Administrative Daily Responsibilities: Review and execution of Firewall Service Requests (FSRs), break-fix tickets, and formal change requests.
- Infrastructure Modernization: Facilitating the decommissioning and "refresh" of End-of-Life (EOL) hardware on a recurring basis.
- Compliance Maintenance: Implementing security controls and configurations to ensure agencies remain in alignment with IRS, FBI, and CJI compliance standards.
- Hardware Administration: Technical configuration and management of Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Operational Requirements & Schedule
- Standard Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- On-Call Rotation: Participation in a weekly on-call rotation to address after-hours incidents.
- After-Hours Maintenance: Availability for scheduled maintenance windows or emergency response situations outside of standard business hours.
- Background checks: Must be able to pass Criminal, financial backgrounds and drug test
- Technical Qualifications
- Palo Alto Firewalls: Next-generation firewall features such as, Zones, security policies, S2S VPN, Natting, and basic threat prevention
- Cisco ASA Firewalls: Configuration, troubleshooting, and rule management.
- General Networking: foundational knowledge of routing protocols, subnetting, OSI model ETC..
Salary : $75 - $80
