- Contact constituents/complainants to discuss the details of the complaints that are filed.
- Read the state statute and compare it with the complaints to analyze the issue.
- Communicating with the public, so good customer service skills are a MUST.
- Advise the complainant of the Division’s jurisdiction and that the case is being closed, and for what reason.
- Provide any resources or referrals, as appropriate.
- Send a written correspondence to the complainant once approved by the supervisor.
- Close the case out by adding the appropriate codes/activities/statuses in Versa.
- Document the actions in the OnBase system.
