Job Overview
The provider will conduct HIPAA-compliant telehealth consultations with patients seeking aesthetic treatments, establish a provider-patient relationship when clinically appropriate, perform medical evaluations, determine candidacy for treatment, and issue treatment orders when medically indicated and consistent with Nevada law and the applicable standard of care. Nevada law allows qualified providers licensed in Nevada to establish patient relationships and issue treatment orders through telehealth when appropriate.
Compensation
$50 per completed treatment order

Responsibilities
NP will evaluate patients and issue orders only when medically appropriate
- Conduct secure telehealth consultations for aesthetic patients.
- Obtain and document an appropriate medical history.
- Evaluate medical appropriateness for cosmetic laser and injectable treatments.
- Perform and document a comprehensive medical assessment.
- Determine candidacy based on clinical judgment.
- Establish a provider-patient relationship through telehealth when clinically appropriate.
- Issue treatment orders or standing treatment plans, when medically appropriate and within your scope of practice.
- Be available for clinical questions related to your patient evaluations, as required by clinic protocols.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical documentation.
- Comply with all Nevada laws, Board of Nursing requirements, HIPAA, and clinic policies.
Minimum Qualifications
Required
- Active, unrestricted Nevada APRN license
- National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or another population focus consistent with the services provided)
- DEA registration if required for your prescribing activities
- Current BLS Certification
- Professional liability insurance
- Experience performing telehealth patient evaluations
- Excellent clinical judgment and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants with formal education or certifications in the treatments they evaluate are strongly preferred, including:
- Cosmetic injectable training (neuromodulators and dermal fillers)
- Medical laser education
- Laser Safety Officer (LSO) certification
- Advanced facial anatomy training
- Aesthetic medicine fellowship or equivalent continuing education
- Experience supporting aesthetic nurses in a medical spa setting

Pay: $49.67 - $50.00 per hour
