Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal I to support the Business Arrangements & Transactions (BAT) team. This role is ideal for a paralegal with experience drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts in a fast-paced legal environment. The successful candidate will support the full contract lifecycle, ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate timely contract execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, edit, and redline Hospital Services Agreements (HSAs), amendments, and related legal documents.
- Review contract intake forms and prepare initial agreement drafts.
- Ensure contracts comply with internal legal policies, regulatory guidelines, and company standards.
- Manage the complete contract lifecycle, including document preparation, execution, tracking, and closeout.
- Maintain accurate contract records within contract management systems.
- Coordinate internal approvals and signature routing for executed agreements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree required (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
- Paralegal Certificate required.
- Minimum 1 year of Paralegal experience.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial or healthcare-related contracts.
- Experience supporting contract lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with legal document management or contract management systems.
- Healthcare legal or corporate legal department experience is a plus.
