Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) leader to design, build, and lead the enterprise IAM program within a global Information Security organization. Headquartered in the United States, our company operates more than 200 offices worldwide and generates over $2 billion in annual revenue.
This role is responsible for transforming and governing the enterprise IAM function, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient identity lifecycle management across all applications and services. The leader will build and manage a dedicated IAM team and ensure that quarterly access management activities, certifications, and identity controls are consistently executed in alignment with defined security standards, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations.
Work arrangement (Onsite/Hybrid/Remote) will depend on your location and our global office network of 200 locations. Applications are open globally, with preference for Middle East and Asia regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the enterprise IAM strategy, roadmap, and governance framework.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing IAM team responsible for identity governance, administration, and access lifecycle management.
- Own the modernization and transformation of the IAM program, including automation and process optimization.
- Establish and enforce IAM policies, standards, and procedures aligned with enterprise security and compliance requirements.
- Ensure effective implementation of identity lifecycle processes (joiner, mover, leaver) across all systems and applications.
- Oversee quarterly access certification and access review programs for all applications and services.
- Enforce least privilege, role-based access control (RBAC), and segregation of duties (SoD) across the enterprise.
- Manage privileged access management (PAM), single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and identity governance controls.
- Partner with HR, IT, application owners, Internal Audit, Legal, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure proper access governance.
- Ensure IAM controls meet regulatory and audit requirements including SOX, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
- Define IAM metrics, KPIs, and risk indicators to track compliance, control effectiveness, and program maturity.
- Drive remediation of access-related risks including orphaned accounts, excessive privileges, and policy violations.
- Evaluate and implement IAM technologies and platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, CyberArk, Ping Identity).
- Provide executive reporting on IAM posture, risks, and compliance status.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate emerging IAM and identity security solutions.
- Foster a culture of security awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10 years of experience in Identity and Access Management or Information Security, including 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven experience building and scaling enterprise IAM programs in large, global organizations.
- Strong expertise in IAM governance, identity lifecycle management, access certification, PAM, SSO, MFA, and RBAC.
- Hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), CyberArk, Ping Identity, or Saviynt.
- Strong understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise security architecture.
- Deep knowledge of compliance frameworks including SOX, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and program management skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or IAM-specific certifications are preferred.
