As a member of the Housing & Residence Life team, RAs support residents by fostering a welcoming environment, promoting academic success and personal growth, and encouraging involvement on campus. RAs are given training every semester to learn the relevant information to perform their duties effectively.

- Create a positive and inclusive community for residents through relationship-building and programming
- Serve as a peer resource by providing support, information, and referrals to campus services
- Promote a safe living environment by upholding university policies and responding to emergencies
- Plan and implement floor- and hall-wide events that encourage connection, learning, and fun
- Collaborate with fellow RAs and professional staff to strengthen the residential experience
- Serve as a role model who exemplifies the values of leadership, responsibility, and integrity
- Conduct regularly scheduled room safety checks, perform resident check-ins/-outs, and attend scheduled staff meetings
- Work scheduled shifts at a residential desk and night/weekend duty on a rotating schedule
- Various duties as assigned

Qualifications
- At least 2.5 GPA
- Sophomore (or above) classification
- > 1 semester lived on campus
- Enrolled full-time
- Good Standing (financially, behaviorally, & academically)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to balance RA responsibilities and academics
- Prior leadership or campus experience preferred but not required
