Summary
SUMMARY: SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the outpatient Oncology Clinic is responsible for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing cancer treatment. This position is Monday-Friday, no weekend or holidays and works four 10-hour days. This role involves coordinating and providing nursing care topatients, triaging patient phone calls, and offering support and education to patients and their families. The RN will workcollaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care.
EXPERIENCE: 2-year clinic experience preferred, ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certified OR complete the certification within 12 months of hire.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Written and verbal communication, exceptional telephone skills, organization, and collaboration with oncology team and patients.
LICENSE/CERT: Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association) Preferred: OCN (Oncology Ceritified Nurse)
EDUCATION: Required: Associates - Nursing, Preferred: Bachelors - Nursing
